The 7 Treatments in the Course
1. Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA)
Learn the most widely used technique for treating venous insufficiency with endovenous laser. The course includes patient selection, ultrasound mapping, venous access, fiber placement, tumescent anesthesia, energy parameters, the Porcupine technique, and postoperative follow-up.
2. Microfoam Sclerotherapy
Comprehensive training in the preparation and application of microfoam for the treatment of reticular veins, telangiectasias, and varicose veins. The Tessari, Varixio, and Sausage Foam techniques are taught, as well as the prevention and management of complications.
3. Mechanochemical Ablation (MOCA)
Hands-on training in mechanochemical ablation using the latest technologies. Indications, advantages, step-by-step technique, and clinical results are reviewed, offering a treatment without tumescent anesthesia.
4. Cyanoacrylate Glue Closure
Learn venous closure using medical-grade cyanoacrylate adhesives. The course covers patient selection, application technique, ultrasound guidance, aftercare, and long-term results.
5. Ultrasound-Guided Foam Sclerotherapy (UGFS)
Master the treatment of saphenous and perforating veins using ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy. Includes procedure planning, foam preparation, real-time ultrasound monitoring, and clinical follow-up.
6. Ambulatory Phlebectomy
Hands-on training in the outpatient removal of varicose veins through microincisions. Indications, instruments, surgical technique, cosmetic management, and patient recovery are taught.
7. Tumescent Anesthesia & Duplex Ultrasound Techniques
Develop advanced skills in Doppler ultrasound and tumescent anesthesia. Learn preoperative venous mapping, ultrasound guidance during procedures, and safe infiltration techniques to maximize efficacy and patient comfort.
