Anil P. Hingorani, MD is the Executive Board Member for Vein and Lymphatic University and an Editor of VLU Voices.

  • Anil Hingorani is a vascular surgeon who has practiced in South Brooklyn since 1998.

  • He is a clinical professor at New York University Langone Medical Center in Brooklyn. His interests include arterial, venous, carotid, aneurysm disease, thoracic outlet syndrome and arteriovenous access.

  • In addition, another recent focus has been changes to minimally invasive techniques in the field vascular surgery in the office setting.

Kathleen Ozsvath, MD is the Executive Board Member for Vein and Lymphatic University.

Dr. Ruth L. Bush is Board-Certified in Vascular and General Surgery with an Active Practice at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System in Temple, TX.

  • Member of several prestigious professional organizations and was elected in 2018 to the American College of Surgeons Academy of Master Surgeon Educators.
  • Additionally, she has been awarded Distinguished Fellow status with both the Society for Vascular Surgery and American Venous Forum.
  • Dr. Bush is currently the Secretary for the American Venous Forum and past President of the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society.president of the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society.

Dr. Enrico Ascher is currently a Professor of Surgery at New York University School of Medicine and Chief of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapies at New York University Langone Hospital – Brooklyn, New York.

  • Dr. Ascher is an internationally recognized Vascular Surgeon for his many scientific contributions to vascular surgery.
    Editor-in-Chief of a well-known textbook in vascular surgery: Haimovici’s Vascular Surgery.
    Former President of the Society for Vascular Surgery, a Co-founder and Past President of the World Federation of Vascular Societies, and a Past President of the International Society for Vascular Surgery.
  • Dr. Ascher is also honored with the Co-Chairmanship of the VEITH Symposium, the largest non-societal meeting for Vascular Surgeons in the world, as well as Founder and Chairman of the Pan-American Congress on Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.

Professor Alun H. Davies, MA, DM, DSc, FRCS, FHEA, FEBVS, FACPh, FLSW, is Professor of Vascular Surgery at Imperial College London and a Consultant Surgeon whose NHS practice is based at Charing Cross and St Mary’s Hospital, London.

Professor Dong-Ik Kim, Male, Vascular Surgeon, Sits on the Board of Directors of Vein and Lymphatic University.

  • He Is the Fellow of National Academy of Medicine of Korea, American College of Surgeons (FACS), and International College of Angiology (FICA).

Manj Gohel is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at Cambridge University Hospitals and the current Department Lead.

  • He has a strong academic and clinical interest in the management of venous ulceration and complex venous disease since 2002. Previously, he was an investigator in the landmark ESCHAR and EVRA venous ulcer trials.
  • He has supervised several BSc, MD, and PhD students. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London and holds an Associate Lectureship at the University of Cambridge.
  • His main clinical interest is in complex venous disease, including novel superficial venous interventions and deep venous stenting.

Dr Jacobowitz is the Frank J Veith, M.D Professor of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at NYU Health.

  • Completed his general surgery training and vascular surgery fellowship at NYU Medical Center and then joined the faculty at NYU, where he has been a faculty member for over 20 years and is now also Chair of the Medical Board.

Dr. Loan Lam is a board certified wound care and hyperbaric medicine physician as well as a podiatric surgeon.

  • One of the few lymphedema certified physicians in the US.
  • Medical Director of Wound Services at United Vein and Vascular Centers. Dr. Lam started the wound, hyperbaric, and lymphedema program as the medical director of Hyper Healing Wound Clinics in Tampa, Florida and launched the first mobile hyperbaric unit in Florida.
  • Has an extensive history of clinical research and is a frequent consultant, lecturer, and clinical trainer for home health agencies, nursing programs, and hyperbaric programs.

Tomasz Urbanek is a vascular surgeon from the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland.

Tanja Ebanks, MD is a physician based in Grand Cayman.

  • She is fluent in German, English, French, and Spanish.

Anne Dancey is trained in all areas of aesthetic and reconstructive Plastic Surgery, performing the full repertoire of procedures.

  • Her specialist interest lies in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, lymphoedema surgery, and body contouring after massive weight loss.
  • One of only a few surgeons in the UK performing DIEP flap breast reconstructions and lymph node transfers for lymphoedema.
  • Focused on helping lipoedema sufferers. Anne was recently council member of the British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (BAPRAS) and is also a member of BAAPS, ASPS (International Member), British Lymphoedema Society (BLS), and was also a Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) regional specialty advisor for Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Marzia Lugli is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Hesperia Hospital (Modena – Italy) in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, led by Professor Oscar Maleti.

  • Treats both arterial and venous pathology by open surgery as well as percutaneous endovascular procedures.
  • Research interests cover all aspects of deep venous disease.
  • Professor of Venous Endovascular Surgery at DUTEV Université Medicine Sorbonne – Paris (France) and at the Postgraduate School of vascular Surgery at San Raffaele University- Milan (Italy).
  • Member of the European Venous Forum Board and Chair of the EVF Research, Education and Publications Committee.
  • Previously the Program Director of EVF Hands-on Courses for Deep vein surgery and Endovascular iliocaval endovascular treatment, from initiation in 2015. In 2017, she created a new Venous Educational Program “Competency in Phlebology”, under the auspice of the EVF. Currently, Dr. Lugli is the President of the Italian College of Phlebology (CIF).

Claudine Hamel-Desnos MD is a specialist in Vascular Medicine.

Nina D. Mzhavanadze, MD, PhD (Ryazan, Russia), associate professor in the department of cardiovascular surgery and radiology, senior researcher in the central research laboratory at the Ryazan State Medical University (Russia).

Dr. Laura Redman is a Vascular Surgeon specializing in Venous and Lymphatics.

Dr. Trina Steljes is Board Certified in General Surgery and Fellowship trained in abdominal organ transplant surgery.
