Dear Colleagues, Friends, and Members of the Vein University Community,
As we close the year 2025, it is a privilege to reflect on the remarkable academic, educational, and community achievements of Vein & Lymphatic University (Vein University – VLU). This year represented a period of consolidation, expansion, and global engagement, reinforcing our mission to advance excellence in venous and lymphatic education worldwide.
Academic and Educational Activity
Throughout 2025, Vein University maintained a strong commitment to continuous medical education, offering high-level content across multiple platforms. Our educational focus included foam sclerotherapy, cyanoacrylate ablation, duplex ultrasound, pelvic venous disease, venous ulcer management, and patient-centered venous care.
A major milestone was the launch of the Vein University Grand Rounds Podcast, introduced mid-year as a recurring educational forum. This initiative provided regular case-based discussions with international experts, emphasizing real-world decision-making, complication management, and evolving techniques in venous and lymphatic disease.
In parallel, Vein University continued to promote live educational sessions and webinars (primarily via Zoom), supporting interactive learning and global participation. These meetings strengthened international collaboration and facilitated direct dialogue between faculty and participants.
Major Milestones of 2025
– Guadalajara Humanitarian Session — A landmark outreach initiative providing hands-on venous care and training to underserved communities, demonstrating VLU’s commitment to global health impact.
– Vein University Training Camp — This highly successful program featured advanced hands-on education for international doctors. For 2026, two sessions (January and September) are already fully booked, each with 15 positions reserved for doctors worldwide, reflecting the high global demand for structured, high-quality venous training.
